Pull it out of strange, moser or currie inventory . Theres no real direct bolt-up from some other vechile. Either way your gonna have to pay the $$$$$$

Some of the old Chevells I know for sure came with a 12 bolt. I also think some of the old trucks had them as well. If your wanting to piece a rear up buy a 9 inch housing and axles from Moser and go junk yard hunting. 9 inch parts are plentiful anyway. good luck

Good idea!
I can get you a Moser 9 inch housing with the torque arm bracket and with axles for 950.00 shipped. Then all you would have to do is junk yard hunt a center section. Bob

i just got one from a older impala. it is two inches shorter than stock, but i am getting different wheels anyway, so i am just going to order 1 inch less backspace.

i have done two 9" fords into third gens. not hard at all, just cut the brackets off one rear and move to other. i think 9"s are going to be easier to install than the 12 bolt.

problem with getting a 12bolt from an older vehicle is the lack of that important piece...whats it called...oh yeah, a torque arm.
