What A B!tch!!!! I got my new torque arm bushing about a month ago and have been waiting to put it in, so Today I had an open rack at school and put my car on it and started pulling stuff out...... before I realized it I had the car almost completly taken apart just to change a damn torque arm mount!! It took me almost 3 hours! I had to come back home and change and I'm gunna grab a bite to eat and go back to school now......
Anyone changed a torque arm mount before?? Was it this hard for you too?? and How long did it take you??

Re: What A B!tch!!!! I have an a4 car and after the coverter and nos I bent the bracket that it the torque arm bushing goes in. It went from being square in shape to looking more like a diamond shape. It is a project When I did the converter every thing was apart already I didn't think I was going to have to remove the exhaust y pipe from the cats and take out the cross member just so I could drop the rear of the trans enough to remove those bolts that go through the tail saft housing. Live and learn the next one you do you will know what you have to do and it will probably only take 1.5 hours instead of all day.Oh yea I have a convertable and it has a huge brace under there for chassis stiffening.
