Custom driveshaft loop?

My installer wants to try to fabricate a driveshaft loop and weld it to the torque arm. Will this work?
I have the Jegs driveshaft loop and it still looks like it won't fit with my FLP's. He was going to cut the Jegs loop off the bracket and then weld plate to the torque arm, then weld loop to plate.
Just want some opinions about this before I let him do it.

Definitely!

Custom is the easiest way to get something to fix. Doesn't need to be fancy, just functional.

That's good. I'll have him do it. I was just concerned about welding something like that to the torque arm.
