Paging the guy with 4L70 tranny trouble
I am wondering what the status is with your tranny and how things worked out after you got it fixed?
I am having the same issues with my 4L70 as well and am wondering how things are going since your repairs.
thanks,
Chris

Re: Paging the guy with 4L70 tranny trouble
That would be me and I have no idea where the original thread went either.
I am in the process of adding several items to my car right now, and it will be dyno tested soon.
But I don't see any problems coming from being on the dyno.
The day after I had my tranny gauge installed, which was the same time I drained and then added a new level of fluid in it, I drove all over the city.
The gauge is reading just above 125' and the sender is located in the pan.
After driving all over, it didn 't leak once.
But when I walked to my car after work, I noticed a little bit of fluid underneath, but this could have been excess on top of the tranny or tunnel.
It drove great and shifted real hard.
I will let you know in 2-3 days how it is really doing, as I will be able to run it hard against someone.
From the looks of it, I may have to email you. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
What is yours doing?
