It can be done using TIS2WEB and a tech2 but you have to know how to trick it. I know I could do it if I had a car that came with 3.42's handy, and I think I could get around it without one. Even if they don't know how to trick it, and most tech's don't, they can call techline and have the correct program needed uploaded to their PC for a fee.

So if I go th a GM Service Dept and say use a Tech 2 and upload the correct program from Techline it should get them on the right track?
Thanks JA

They can do it at the dealer. They are limited to only ratios that are offered in production. Because you are using 3.42 they should be able to do this. I know it can be done because I work at a dealership and have called TAC (technical assistance center) and asked.
