What can I expect from 4.10's?

What can I expect from 4.10's? I just ordered my Mosier "9 rearend with 35 spline axles and 4.10 gears. What kind of gains can I expect and is there that much of a difference in coming out of the hole with 4.10's. This is the first time I have run this deep of gears, I have never gone deeper than 3.73's in the past. What should I expect? Thanks in advance.

Re: What can I expect from 4.10's? I noticed a HUGE difference when I went to 4.10s in my 10-bolt. Every gear felt like one lower. i.e. 2nd gear with 4.10s felt like 1st with 3.42s. A punch from a roll in first really surprised me. Before I'd get a loud chirp from the F1s shifting to 2nd. After 4.10s, it'd actually spin the tires.

I think he went from 4.10's to those ignant gears just this year.

Re: What can I expect from 4.10's? My 4.10's in my 10 bolt made the car a whole new animal. The car pulled in every gear until I twisted the axle. Rear end went BOOM.
The 4.56 gear's in my Moser 12 bolt were even better until I broke the posi in it. Rear end went BOOM again.
Now with the 4.56 gears and spool. My Hot Rod should fly with the front wheels off the ground. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Re: What can I expect from 4.10's? Don't expect to power shift second! I did once, and I about friggin crashed because it got so sideways. Power shifting 3rd I can leave about 20ft skid marks. I can bark 4th pretty hard.
Note: I only have 315rwhp too. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
4.10s kick ***. Don't expect to spray with 'em though! You could probably get away spraying maybe in third, probably in fourth.
