aam or ta rear-end cover?

Default aam or ta rear-end cover?

the aam is $100 and the TA is $140, are they both about the same or is the TA the way to go?

The AAM is just an aluminum cover while the T/A is a girdle. The T/A cover should have studs to preload the caps for the carrier. The AAM doesn't. If you just want the looks get the AAM, if you want some function too get the T/A.

I have a TA I ship to you for $100, worked great on my 10bolt.

Get the LPW girdle. It comes with a magnetic drain plug. My old TA girdle didn't.

I think they are made to feed more oil into the tubes and to help cool the axle since they chanel oil through passages in the cover.
