Vibrations and clunks, need help. I'm getting a bad vibration above 100mph at WOT. Also, when the convertor is locked and I'm coasting (off the gas) between 40 and 50 mph there is a clunk or thud every few seconds. I think this is what seem people call convertor shudder. It seems like it is coming from the rear of the car, but I'm really not sure. This only happens when the convertor is locked and I am not on the gas at all. I thought maybe it was the exhaust banging, but I kicked the pipes around while it was on jackstands and I couldn't get it to bang anything.
I have a vig3200 with a 3 washer transgo and a stock rear end, and a stock torque arm so pinion angle isn't an issue. I'm hoping the noise is because of something easy like a trans mount, but I'm worried that something in the rear end or the convertor is about to break.
Edit: I also have a comp 218/218 .563 114LSA cam, and I'm having lock/unlock issues too.

Re: Vibrations and clunks, need help. High speed vibration could be a tire/wheel/rotors are slightly out of round.
Lock/unlock could be misfires. Any programming done to your car? how old are your plugs and wires?
Does the coast down from 60 - 50 go just fine?
