Default Ah crap, did I blow up my transmission or what?

So as some as you may remember, I lost my driveshaft on the dyno 2 weeks back. Broke the tailshaft, driveshaft, torque arm/mount/bushing, banged up the floorboard and crushed the exhaust pretty good.

I just finally got the car back together with a new Denny's HD aluminum DS and fixed/replaced the broken stuff. The only thing that's still left is the exhaust, as part of the driver's side y-pipe is crushed in to about 2/3 it's original size.

Anyway, I was out testing it today and it's great except it won't do the 1-2 shift at WOT. You can feel it come out of 1st and right when you expect it to hit 2nd, it just freewheels and starts bouncing off the rev limiter. I haven't tried the 2-3 WOT shift and I only did the 1-2 twice (same effect both times). At part throttle the car shifts fine otherwise though, doesn't appear to be slipping at all, it drives and shifts just like it always did. I checked the fluid levels about 80 times, the line is right at the O in HOT with the trans temp at about 170 and the car in park on level ground. You can tell when it's low/high anyway, the car will either do sloppy part throttle shifts or shift too hard respectively.

So d'ya think I blew something up? Or maybe the computer has to relearn or something? Should I reset it maybe? I'll try the 2-3 WOT later on and see if it's any different. No fluids leaking or strange noises either, btw.

So, its like 2nd gear is gone? No engagment at all, and no grinding? Thats pretty damn strange!

I'd almost have to suspect the tranny. One time I blew up a stock rearend and that jarred the internals of my tranny loose. A lot of little metal C-clip rings and blocks fell off of my sliders.

I've seen trannies do that before. The electronic solenoids could be fubared and not allowing the 1-2 shift to happen. Could be an electronic issue.
