Default Swapping Rear Ends?

I have a 99 Z which i just blew up my rear end. It has 4 channel ABS. What i am wondering is.. can i swap a 3channel into it TEMPORARILY until i get my 12bolt? I have an extra 3ch rear end laying around that i can throw in so i can still drive the car at least.

I understand i will probably not have working ABS while i have the 3 channel in, since i will not be able to hook up the sensors, but will this affect anything when i go to plug the sensors back into the new 12bolt? It should reset the abs light and be fine correct?

Does anyone forsee any other problems with making this temporary swap?

Thanks, Jeff

Should be no problem, Just ABS light on while 3 channel is in.
Will still pass inspection also.
