i believe my limited slip carrier is starting to go bad because it dont work when making a right turn anymore. i am wondering what exactly the limited slip additive does and if i add more to the rear will the clutch plates grip better. thanks.

The additive allows it to slip more not less. This is why a posi w/o the additive chatters instead of smoothly slipping like it's supposed to. More additive would equal more slip.
