Default opinions on deleting abs

well i have a chance to pick up a 9" with 4 channel abs and i have 3 channel.i was told that it would be too much to to convert it over to 3 channel and i would have the option to just delete abs all togather.is this a good idea?how much will this affect my braking?

The brakes will feel the same. I've stomped on mine pretty hard (panic braking) a couple of times and I have yet to lock up the tires, they would though on wet pavement. I have no complaints about deleting mine.

FWIW: I also have the ABS disabled on my '00 Silverado (never took it in for the ABS module recall). I've gone two winters with absolutly no issues. ABS is for people that don't know how to drive.

Well, that is complete bullshit.

To the original poster get an abs delete kit you're building a race car anyway so get rid of the whole system and your brakes will work just fine.

Yea, sorry 'bout that I didn't catch the sarcasm. Had a rough night.
To the OP the abs delete kits really clean up the bay, you will love it.
