Default stupid ?

dum ? but here go's i got a stock t/a rear end which i think it has a 2.73 and was looking in swaping it with a ws6 rear end . will i have any major problems ? other than tuning it after the swap, need help .

most (as far as i know) regular t/a's came with a 2.73 ratio w/a4. if you got ws6, you get 3.23 w/a4. that being said, you shouldn't have any problem switching out, make sure you get the same abs rearend. there is a 3 channel (4 wheel abs), or 4 channel (abs w/traction control). three channel has one sensor on top of diff, 4 channel has sensor on end of each axle under rotors. hope this helps.

anybody correct me if i'm wrong...i think you can convert a 3 channel to a 4 channel by swapping the axles, backing plates and sensors, but you cant convert a 4 channel to a three b/c there may not be a reluctor wheel on the carrier inside. dunno, hope this helps.
