If you're referring to the pinion seal, no, the transmission does not have to be pulled to replace. Is it coming from the front of the differential?

rear main seal???

i want to know if i need a new one of these and if any one has had the similiar problem i am having. in the back where my drive train connects to my rear end is leaking bad, and it is OIL! it is all over the place. what is the cause of this and has anyone had the same problem. i think i need a new rear main seal, but that is a B%tch to fix because u have to drop the trans right. HELP!!!
