Damn STRANGE so i bought a kit from thunder racing and it came with a full rebuild and gears and lube for my 10 bolt the gears are 4.10's from STRANGE i installed the gears and they made lots of noise and vibration so i reshimed it a total of 10 times and changed 2 crush collars and used a solid pinion bearing spacer still not change drove for a total of 800 miles. the wear pattern of the gears is perfect so it has to be the gears themself. what do u think the chances of me getting a another set from them?? i dont want to have to pay for them but im thinking they wont believe me should i call STRANGE or thunder racing???

Call them up I guess.
I had the same gears and were dead quiet (just like stock gears) up until I started getting wheel hop.
Even then you could only hear them on decel.
