Default Motive 3.90s vs Strange 3.73s for an A3 /w 10 bolt

Searched but didn't find any info

I'm looking to grab Thunder Racing's rear end package for the 10 bolt, mainly since I don't want to buy a 9" just yet, and my 10 bolt doesn't have very many miles on it (30k or so)

I currently have the stock 3.42 gears, looking to jump to either 3.73s or 3.90s. Both will cost 30 or 35 bucks more as an option, so obviously the price difference isn't a concern. The Strange 4.10s would do the job, but I don't think I want 4.10s on a 3 speed

Tires are 28x11.5, possibly going a little bit wider later, but will stick with 28" tall

How strong are the Motive 3.90s? As far as I know the Strange gears are strong, but I would prefer a 3.90 over a 3.73

All my launches will be stalling up by the way, I won't be tranny braking until I have a 9" in the garage or in the car

*edit* Converter is currently a 4k with unknown STR, but will be changing to aprox 3800 stall with ~2.2 or so STR. Cam is currently a HotCam, but a tRex or similar will be in the car within the next couple months. I'm spraying 100 shot, possibly jumping to 125-150 later. These gears will need to compliment all this
