SLP Rear-Jounce-Bumper Spacers. are these installed on axles? SLP jounce bumper spacers - are they safe to drag race with?

Do they do their job, any experience with theses spacers???
I've noticed that my tires are slightly touching/scraping the inner wheel wall, rims are 17/11 Zr1 with 315/35/17 nitto tires on my Moser 9"
Please help out guys.
