Default Weight Difference???

I just bought a brand new 9" from Moser and im having reloc. brackets welded to it. Its got the alum center section, alum pinion support with a detriot locker and 31 spline axles. How much more will this weigh than my 3:73 ten bolt w/ TA cover, etc?? Going for under 3K car weight...

I just got a moser 9"/N case/true trac and by the UPS ship info everything weighed 220 WITH Packing. I didn't get to weight the 10 bolt but have heard they average around 190. Looks like about +30 BUT I countered that with a cutom 3.5" alum DS which lost me 10-13 lbs over the stock steel DS. So I came out 10-15lbs heavier but TONS stronger. Just got her all broke in and she is as quiet as stock but feels much tourqier even though I went with a taller gear.

About 20 lbs heavier, but well worth it.

Yeah, I wanted to do it one and do it right. I'm planning on retuning this fall for 900rwhp and I'll put some strip passes on her so I don't want to have to worry about anything breaking! BTW alum case is ~15lbs less than N case.

moser 9" alum center, 35 spline gun drilled, locker, it was pretty damn close if not a shade lighter than the 10 bolt that came out actullynever actully weighed either for exacts though.
