Default stirring an old pot about an IRS in an F-body

But thought those that are interested would find this worth looking at:

F-Body motorsports has put an IRS in a 94 Formula

Anything is possible with enough time, thought & money. Still not worth any of that in my opinion especially when there are such cheap ready-made solutions like 12 bolts, 9" & S60's.

I e-mailed the guy. Trying to find out the details (i.e. is abs and tcs working - how'd he do it... did you back half that, tough to tell from the photo). Granted most people (including drag racers) will sneer and roll their eyes at it, if you wanted IRS you shoulda bough a vette, and it's more money and time then the car is worth in a practical, financial sense. But then for this guy i doubt practical was in mind, and a vette isn't as unique a '94 Formula Firebird with an IRS. That true dual setup is pretty nice also. Somebody in NC named Jay has some skills with a torches, and wrenches.

I'm pretty sure that is the same car that was on display at G10 this year. I got on the ground, and got an upclose look at it. I wouldn't want it in my car, but F-Body Motorsports did a great job on the fabrication/installation of the IRS in that car.
