Odd TC lock up issue...
change the misfire temp table and your problem will be fixed. I used to have this problem after my cam install and found that all worked well until i got caught at a couple of lights then it wouldn't lock anymore. If I turned the car off and on I could cruise the freeway for hours without issue.

I was hoping it was just going to be the temp table. I'm planning to get edit soon so I'll give that a try first.
My PCM has been tuned, and I understand from some that if I use LS1 edit to change the misfire temp readings to like 139/140 that it will start locking up. At this time I don’t have Edit, and I’m not entirely sure that this is the issue since it’s intermittent. Oh, and my Ltrims are fine so I don’t think that’s it either, and I have a totally stock MAF. It also seems that the tranny tends to lock better when it’s above 180 (I have a deep truck pan and B&M cooler plus cooler fan settings that keep the tranny around the 170 range most of the time).
So I guess what I’m asking is, are other cammed cars just having an intermittent issue, or is it all the time? I have a B1, BTW, and a SY3500 ‘verter that locked up just fine prior to the cam.
Oh, one other thing...is it hurting the 'verter in any way to not be locking? Just wondering...
