Thanks man! That helps out alot. I have been on the gear calculator trying to decide. I was leaning towards the 4.10s, but now it's a done deal! 4.10s it is!

I'm trying to decide on what gear's I'm gonna get in my 81 (th350) - if I run 3.73's I'm getting 28" tires....I'm trying to decide on if I'm gonna get 3.42s or 3.73s. Any help is appreciated.

well come to find out the dealer was wrong and after some math i did have 3.23's so it will make a bigger difference and it has alot more pole and 1st gear doesn't seem like it takes forever now

running 3.73's with a 27" slick. There is a lot of calculators that you can use to figure your gear ratio to tire size for the rpm's you will trap.
