Default Power?

How much power requires changing from the 10 bolt out for say a 9 inch or a 12 bolt? I am gonna be pushing quite a bit more hp/tq and was wondering how my 10 bolt with 4.10 gears would hold up.

power isnt an issue if you cant get it down the track if your racing dyno's then leave the 10 bolt put a 9 inch in and let it eat

how much power is too much for a clutch dump on 10 bolt with stock 3.42s?: 305 hp
how much power is too much for a clutch dump on 10 bolt with 4.10s?: 275 hp

With sticky tires and a good clutch, either of those could break a 10 bolt!

i broke my 4.10s on street tires out in front of my buddy's house with 317 rwhp... my confidence in 10 bolts is very minimal, i'm just glad that i don't have to worry about it now that i have a 12 bolt.
