3or 4 channel ??

Default 3or 4 channel ??

I am in the process of looking for a 9 or a 12 bolt becouse of 10 bolt crapping and i need to know if mine is a 4 channel or a 3 channel . How do i go about finding what mine is i never needed to know before now .

Non-TCS cars are 3 channel with one connection on top of the pumpkin, TCS cars are 4 channel with the connections at each rear wheel.

If you have traction control it's 4-channel, if not it's 3-channel. "ASR" in Camaros and "TCS" in Firebirds.

ahhhh now i see thanks for the info guys . Well if i go 9in i dont think it will work with tcs anyhow from what i have seen it doesnt work to well on the applications. So if i go 9in i should get 3 channel and if i go 12bolt i should go 4 channel right ?

It depends where your reluctor ring(s) are. You need to keep the same system. If the rings are at the end of the axleshafts you have the 4 channel. If the single ring is mounted to the carrier, you have the 3 channel.
