Default solid pinion spacers

how does the install differ from regular crush sleeves?

The solid base slips over the pinion shaft, just like a normal crush sleeve would..... and then there are shims that are placed on top of the solid base to control the installed height.

There is normally a period of trial an error to get the height close, until you get the final pre-load correct.

Then torque the **** out of the pinion nut!
