Torquer V.2 and 3.90 or 4.10 in a A4?
before everyone says use the seach feature (I ALREADY DID) no luck.
Does anyone run these rear gears in a A4 with a set up like mine?
I ran 12.4 and looking to get into the 11's.
my current rear gear is a 3.42.
I figured with either 4.10 or 3.90's and port and polish TB and an ASP pully
I might run 11.90-80 1/4 et
I know the car has a 12.20 in it as it sits now so all I need is .3 to get in to the 11's. the car also weighs in at 3850 (thats a big bitch).
I don't drive on the high way much at all (only when driving to the track)
and it's not my DD so I'm not worried about gas mileage.
I'm leaning more towards the 3.90 just want some help from folks with similar set ups thanks

I have 4.30's in a 6 speed and that is about max without running a taller than stock tire. You being a A4 I would think the 4.10 would be the best choice. What size tire you run?

If you are using it as a strip car mostly then 4.10 would probably be the choice. What are you crossing the traps at RPM wise? Might want to take a look at your shift rpm and the rpm you are crossing the traps at. This will tell you alot. You may not have enough rpm to run a 4.10, 26" tall tire, and still not hit the limiter in the 1/4 mile.
