Need some opinions...
Now go read my post about the problem I'm having with 2nd gear
A 2600 will most likely be a huge disappointment in performance; you'll probably want to be in the 3000 - 3500 range.
BTW, Why did you get that tranny if you are not expecting to be pretty hard core about performance?
Airbox, K&N, SLP mass air unit, MMS ported Throttle body.
Shorty headers, off road y-pipe, exhaust cutout, flowmaster.
MTI custom high lift camshaft (T1), valve springs, chrome molly pushrods, titanium retainers. All installed by MTI in Houston.
Yank 4L70 heave duty race transmission with a reverse manual valve body.
Tranny cooler.
Yank thruster pro 4000 stall converter. Manual lockup.
Springs, control arms, panhard bar, torque arm, strut tower brace.
I bought the car knowing it was mostly set up for the track. The guy I bought it from said it was great to drive on the street too...and where that is true, this is going to be my daily driver and the 4000 stall eats a helluva lot of gas.
I'd suggest a Yank 3000 or SuperThruster 3200, and the SLP 3300. Yank's are on sale now and you may be able to trade the YTP4000 for a new Y3000 for not much out of pocket cost.
