Which gear ratio?

Which gear ratio? I am about to get my stock 10-bolt rear end rebuilt, and I am replacing the gears but I don't know which to get yet. I have a 1998 Camaro z28, and I'm not too sure but I think it comes with 3.23's, and I'm looking to make it a 3.42 or 3.73. Which do you recommend? Will 3.73's wear out the new rear end?

haha it's an a4. Yea I was planning on going with the 3.73's but I didn't want to risk losing another rear end. Will it do any damage to the rear end? And how much worse will my gas mileage be?
