There is also the strange S60 if you want to keep your 3/channel. A Ford 9 is the de facto standard for drag racing if that is your thing.

BTW Those are good deals Exotic Performance Plus posted.

You guys don't get it, he said the strongest. You need 9", 40 spline (gun drilled for weight reduction ), wide 5 bolt pattern, and a spool. That should hold you. I've got 35 spline axles in mine, and them some big mfers, 40 s would be huge by large. oh yeah a fabricated housing, with a back brace, not a tube housing.

that rear would indeed be a great rear for a strip only car but very overkill for a street/strip car.unless he is in the 1000 + hp range a regular ol' 9 " will be more than enough but you are correct, your reccomended rear would be very strong.

My 9 is a tooth pick in comparison to this thing.

Yeah, way over kill, but he did say "strongest". On a side note, you'll need to add about 100 hp to compensate for the power loss. lol. I've got 35 spline axles in mine just for the added insurance for those hard launches on a m6, if I ever break those I'll be proud of myself.

I'm pretty fond of my 9" moser peice...especially since it hasn't broken(yet). The disc brakes are great too seeings how my old 3rd gen camaro came with drums. I wasn't too fond of the stinkin' brake lines I had to deal with since GM uses those stupid nipples on the end of the factory lines. Oh well, thats why they make tubing cutters and flare tools!! Oops, yep, still like my 9" even better than the 12 bolt.
