Default rear end question

I have a 2000 camaro SS and I have richmod 4.10 gears bout to go in my question is I have seen some ppl talkin about a paddle kit I was wondering if I would need one of these I know nothing about rears so I am turnin to you guys

no you can grind down on it alittle and it will slide in. that's what i did when i put 4.10's in mine.

Don't waste your money of the paddle kit. You will have to just grind off a little material on the end of the block. This will alow you to put it in and still get it back out if you have to. The block will want to hit the corner of the ring gear if you don't grind the block down. Grinding on this will have NO effect on the gears,carrier or rearend itself.
