Stock Rearend?

Hey guys just wondering what my stock rearend is I'm guessing 10 bolt I know I have 273 gears.Now my ? is what is the biggest toque converter I can go with without blowing my rearend out or should I get a stronger rearend or just get better gears.

Mostly a daily driver with seeing the strip once a month.

Well you don't want to just jump on the biggest converter you can get. You mods are minimal, so you really don't need a stall. My buddy is runnin 11.9 on his stock stall. All he has is: !cats, BBK tb, flowmaster, shift kit, lid, NOS 5177, & dyno tune. Everything else is stock.

I wouldn't even mess with a converter until you get a cam.
