Default How much can truetrac handle ??

i have a 01 SS that im about to put a heads and cam in, hoping to be around the mid 400 range after everything, and eventually be spraying a 100-125 shot soon after, ive already decided on the 9 in. but i dont really want a spool just for the fact its a DD, but i still want something i dont have to worry about. Basically i want something that descent on the street but something i can also beat the hell out of at the track, will a truetrac hold up ? Help me decide

I'd go with the Truetrac if I were you.

They use them all the time off road so it'll definitely hold up for you.

I'd say go with the Truetrac for up to an actual 600 rwhp, after that I would go with the spool. I've driven with quite a few spools on the road, and they're not that bad unless you have to parallel park. Bob

yeah he said "when you have enough in your car to break what you have, then come see me and it'll be time for a spool"

but i'm not seeing the need for a sool any time soon. my car was a DD for 2 years due to lack of daily beater. the TrueTrac is great to me thus far absolutly no complaints with anything oh and i have 3.89 gears, they feel pretty good

He told me the same thing, so I followed his advice, had him build me a 9" and I couldnt be happier. Truetrac all the way.
