Strange 12 Bolt Zerk Fittings - already searched
How often should I grease the Zerk fittings on the axles of the 12 bolt?
What kind of grease should I use?
I have my grease gun loaded with synthetic grease for the suspension poly bushings. I don't think I should use this grease for these bearings since you shouldn't use synthetic oil for the diff.
Also, how much grease should I pump in. I don't want to create a leak at the axles?

Funny I just talked to strange a couple days ago about that. They said those zerk fittings were for the older rearends and are no longer used even though they still put them on . They siad do NOT pump grease in there or it will just mix with the oil and could cause some problems. I pulled my axles just like an hour ago and sure enough those zerks would just pump lube into the axle tubing and do nothing at all. the bearings get lubed from the Diff. oil.
I would call Strange anyway and see how far back the you go before those zerks were used...
