CENTERFORCE DF......NEED HELP QUICK!!! Hey fellas. To make a long story short, 1500 miles ago I installed a CF Dual Friction clutch, SLP Light-weight Flywheel, CF throught bearing, and a new pilot bearing....And being an idiot, I neglected to upgrade my shitty '99 hydraulics...and now I'am paying the price <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" /> . It seems that my clutch is not fully disengaging. The car drives fine around town..no problems..but when I go to race it, it won't let me shift @ high RPM's, and when I come to a stop, put my foot on the clutch with the car in 1st gear, and let off the brake, the car moves forward every so slightly by itself.
I talked to a GM tech last week, and he had me order an '02 master which has a larger bore and is able to displace more fluid. I'm scheduled to have it put in on Wednesday. MY QUESTION TO YOU GUYS IS...Do you think this should be all I need to upgrade. I only ask because like I said before, the car is completely drivable with no apperant problems other than when I go to shift at high RPM's? Centerforce was no help. They told me that I must have installed the clutch wrong....OK, what ever.
