Default 3.73 guys come in

well i installed 3.73s some time back in my A4, well i went to the track about a week ago and when i put the slicks on everytime i tryed to stall the car up i couldn't get the car over 1800 RPMs because the car would start to inch forward. the only explaination i can think of is the rear end. now i know i could fix that with like a 3200 stall or something but does anyone know of this problem or something i can do?

I always start from the idle. I have good 60's and I find it consistent and
almost never spin.

I tried for many years to build rpm on the line only to blow the tires off and be totally inconsistent..Last year I started to just punch it from idle, only holding the brakes to keep from rolling out...went consistent 1.55 60's on 255 50 R16 M/T radials on stock 16x8s...I will try the same technique with my 275 50 15s and Bogarts..I have 3.73s and a Vig 3600...
