I've got them in mine. Definately good pieces, and I haven't had any problems in half a year yet.

Just talked to my trans guy
I ordered the 5pinion frt/rear planetaries that the 02 boxes got in them.

I already had the better shaft and roller bearing sunshell from GM in my Serta box.We are also adding the 9 clutch pack in the 3/4....

I figured since I'm getting the verter checked out and looking at the front pump while the trans is down I might as well upgrade to the newest parts avalable.

I still dont know if I will run the Yank or the Vig.
I wanna see how the front pump, line psi comes back and then I'll decide

I gotta tell u this trans is working flawlessly after some hard runs.I like experimenting and upgrading parts when i have the chance.

We figure the driveline vibration is chassis related and are going to address that this week.

So your trans is working great but you're going to pull it and rebuild it. Yeah right. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

Listen I'll only say this once.
My trans is working PERFECTLY.

We are upgrading to 2002 planetaries as they've become aval. in the last few months. We arent touching any other parts in the trans because we are trying to find the weak links to improve on....

I wanted to remove the 6 pack and go to a 9 pack clutch but Jimmy told me today,no I wont do it until we know its not as good.

We BELIEVE the red alto 9 pack will be the way to go but were trying the blues first. Its fun when u have a tranny guy who wants to play upon a design.Once were done R&D work I will tell everyone my opinion.

Thats what LS1tech was supposed to be when it first came to the light. One guy helping another.

Its wasnt supposed to be a place to insult and knock others.Maybe someday you'll realize that Terry, and maybe u wont.

Oh FWIW,the vibration was a bad u-joint
improper pinion angle. Its ALL better now.
