spool question

how does the spool keep the axle from sliding out do you still use the c clip or is there some thing else

If it is for a 10 bolt you would most likely be using a mini spool, which will work with c-clips. 9", most Dana's, and all the aftermarket 12 bolts dont use c-clips. They have preesed on axle bearings.

no c-clips, axle bearing's and press rings are pressed near the end of each axle.u slide the axle into the housing and bolt on the backing plate to hold the axle in the housing.

only 2 type that ive herd of are c-clip and non c-clip axles

can an axle slide out if you are doing a donut or is it pressed in hard enough

there pressed on hard you need to heat the rings with a torch to get them on the right way, + the fact that your brakes hold the axles in there not going anywhere.
