my rear has been dead silent since the 4.10 install. well i was on the freeway earlier and i heard a slight whine in the rear around 55mph and above. last time i checked, the wear pattern on the gears are perfect. doesnt make any noise until 55.

could this just be a normal thing? it just started happening within the past few days.

im gonna check the fluid, there hasnt been any leaks.

 

If it just started, it may be a sign that bad things are happening. Are you still on the stock rear? Had you recently run it hard?

 

nope... havent done any hard driving on the 4.10's.

just chirp 2nd every once in awhile. or the rears spin over water.
