vibrations from rear of the car
stock rear with older goodyear gs-c i had a viberation coming for the rear of the car.
installed a 9" and re used the gs-c tires...still their
9" was used with a set of chrome firebird 16" rims with mt et streets......vibes gone
put the gs-c back on, the vibe came back.
the gs-c where very bald. so i got a set of cheep tires from a friend but it still did it.
then i bought some new tires from tire rack and the vibe is still their.
so i moved my front tires to the rear these are about 5k old but still their
i tried rotating the 180* at the yoke but its still their.
all the wheels/tires where balanced. and the vibe is only at higher speeds, but when im acclerating up to about 65 its not their. acclerating over 65 you can feal it. when its out of gear its their but only over 50 but when its back in gear it goes away untill i speed up or take it bak out of gear.
i think its a bent rim but when i rotated them i still had it, unless all of them are bent.
but then why did it go away when i use teh other rims with the e/t streets?
and only got rid of the vibrations when i put NEW rotors on the car, and i had tried everything before the rotors, i replaced rims, tires, suspension pieces, rear, then i did some routine maintence new pads and rotors and the vibrations stopped
