venting 9"?? What are you guys using to vent a 9"

I did find this, just not sure where the p/n is from
You need to vent the rear somehow. They do supply you with piece that screws in to the rear but you have to get a hose with some sort of cap that vents it. So I just bought a screw in piece that vents it( part number C04 1038 it only cost $6.29). Plus alot cleaner look.

and another thing.... they dont come with drains in them either from what I understand. I have an extra o2 bung and plug, would that be good to use with a gasket? If I drill out the rear and weld it in?
If you figure out all of the vent parts needed, would you mind posting everything up (esp. where you got it)? I guess that's another reason why I'm going with a 12-bolt...don't have to worry about figuring out a drain/fill plug solution with the upgraded aluminum support cover.

the drain and fill plug option is very cheap to have done when you order the housing or you can order bungs from places like Mark Williams for a couple of bucks
the vent is usually in the tube and it looks like a peice of 1/4 inch fuel line would work I had a -6 AN fitting and a internal baffel welded in mine I cant really explain it but its super easy If you have a larger vent line -8 is ideal you'll be less likley to puke oil everywhere..

order the rear with the fill and drain plug if your going to spen 2500 on a rear why cheap out on the stuff to make your life easier my 9 inch had the vent on top of the axel tube and we just got fuel line and ran it up tied a real loose knot in it so if fluid does come out it would have to go through the loop first its been working great for me
