Just answer his freaking question. He is not asking if he will break his rear end.

I would probably try a 26" tall tire first. It might be too much gear for a stock motor and a 26" tire though, but a 28" might be too tall.

Ok,thats What I Was Kind Ofthinking A 50 Series Drag Radial Is That About 26 Inch Do You Know,in Case I Run A Drag Radial.so A 15 Inch Or 16 Inch Rim Wont Matter Just As Long As Its A 26 Inch Tire.the Gears Are For A 408 Thats Going To Be Going In Soon Well For The Time Being Untill I Blow Up The Rear End,i Dont Really Drive The Car That Much And It Doesnt Allways See The Track I Try To Baby It A Little.

A 275/50/15 is about 26" tall. If you are going to have a 408 that might run better with a 28", but the stock motor will probably like the 26.

26 for sure
my MT DRs 275/40/17 were perfect. but my Mt et streets 27" are even to tall all motor. the nitrous im hopin will be a diff story. with your mods youll prolly trap in the 113 range which is gonna put you at around 5700 at the traps.
with 3.89 gear-113MPH- 1 OD ratio- tire height 26
i used this formula to pick my 3.89s cause with the nitrous i want to be able to go 133 ( just a number i watn to go no real reason that MPH) and know i wasnt gonna tap my rev limiter set at 6800 with the cam
http://www.fbody.com/calc.htm

stay 26 on motor i drop .3-.4 ths on the 27s
