2001 Trans Am posi??????? ok i ordered a new posi from slp and it looks different then mine. Mine has little teeth on top of the posi (maybe for abs I DONT KNOW). The one slp sent me does not have them. Are there 2 different posi's for Trans Am's????
I am a little confused about the hole thing now because slp sent me a OEM Zexel posi and it is different.....I thought that is what i had! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />
OK any explainations would be nice....

Re: 2001 Trans Am posi??????? The teeth on the old one is a reluctor ring for the ABS, call SLP and order a new one. Or you could just swap that one over if its the same carrier and so on.

I called a local dealership and they told me about it this morning...
on my old on the posi the gear is made in the same casting as the posi so it wont come off.
I ordered a R. gear from gm to fit on my posi that i got from SLP...so everything is good now except my car is down for the time being.
BUT AS I SAID BEFORE THANKS FOR THE REPLY <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
