Default Aluminum Driveshaft help fast!!!!

Hey everyone i have recently purchased an aluminum driveshaft...well the one i purchased has the set up for a 12 bolt...do i need to change the u-joint in this or will it still fit the same way on my 10 bolt? Can any one lead me in the right direction on how to do this...?? I tried installing it tonight but had alot of trouble...i didnt realize that i had to have the car in neutral..wish i would of known that before i started....but i will re attempt tonight if someone can answer my question above if this will work or not....If it doesnt work how do i change the u-joint to a 10 bolt?

Yes, you will need to change the u-joint. You need a Saginaw-3R joint. Push the old one out, put the new one in.

can you please tell me how to do this? I went to autozone and bought the 10 bolt u-joint..is that what i need? i am having trouble trying to push it out also...whats the easiet and best way to do this

Hydraulic press if you can find one...do you have any driveshaft shops around (or anything of that nature)? Hell, call Autozone and ask them if there is anyone local that can do it...they'd probably know.

Otherwise, you'll need something like an impact socket, and you'll have to hammer it out using that (hammering on the impact socket that is sitting on the u-joint).
