Rear End ?

When I purchase my LS1 camaro or trans am this summer, most likely it will be a 98 or 99 with an A4, how will I know what rear end is in it? Will the manual say? Any help would be great, thanks...

If the car has traction control than it will have a 4 channel rear, if it just has ABS than it will be a 3 channel rear. With an A4 you will most likely end up with a 3:23 gear in it as well. Id recommend a 3 channel car myself

Oh, btw all 93-02 camaro/firebirds (LT1/LS1 models) come with a 7.5" 10 bolt w. posi.

if your shifter gives you the option to go to 1 then its a 3.23 gear car, if you can only go down to 2 and no option for 1 then its a 2.73 gear car
