Default 5/8 studs

the rear end I currently have on my car (Moser 35 spline gun drilled star cut)has the moroso 5/8 studs, they are great for draglite type rims but stock type wheels you need acorn type lug nuts to locate the rims, is there a way I can switch them out to the regular 1/2 studs from 5/8? I don't want to have to buy new axles to mount up some regular rims that use the acorn type of lug nut Thanks Art

Take the axles to a machine shop and let them redrill new holes in the flange.

Only problem is that they are star cut. They 5/8 holes need to be welded shut and redrilled. Thats going to run the price up if that can even be done.

I was in a bind once and had to put a set of stock wheels on my 5/8 studs, so I bought a set of 5/8 acorn style lugs out of the circle track section in jegs.
