Default measurement for driveshaft?

hey guys im needing a measurement for a driveshaft to my car. it has a tci super streetfighter th-350 and a moser 9". any help would be great!

You're really gonna trust one of these guys to give you driveshaft measurments? A driveshaft can be measured several different ways, I hope you are all on the same page.

well what are the best ways to measure it then? if you dont mind me asking?

Load the axle as if it were sitting on the ground and measure from center of the u-joint on the pinion yoke to the seal on the transmission. Thats the usual measurement that any driveshaft manufacture will need to build one up.

i measured the d.s. and i got 46.5 inches. does that seem right to yall

Where did you measure it from? The tip of the yoke to the rear U-joint? Or from weld to weld? Or the total from both joint centerlines? Or form the rear joint centerline to the front U-joint strap? Or From the rear U-joint centerline the front yoke tip? And if you are comparing, make sure the other dude measures the exact same way.
