Default Rear end bottoming out

If I carry 3 passengers my rear end bottoms out with metal to metal contact since I had to cut off the jounce bumpers to clear my 17x11 rims.
Any suggestions like air shocks, coil over shocks, airbags inside coil springs etc to help bottoming out. My car is not lowered.

carry 2 passengers! Your going to have to tell one of the three people you can't be friends anymore.

They are all 15 yrs and pretty good sized kids. 140 pounds each. They go to the movies a lot and have to pick them all up.

Think I'll get those Air Lift airbags from Thunder racing.

In all seriousness I have used air bags on a few cars on mine with very good results. None where Fbodys but I know it will fix your problem. A plus is you can adjust them very easily.

I agree. Put an airbag in each of the rear springs and keep em pumped up to a couple psi everytime you go out with them. Instead of bottoming out you'll 'bottom out' on the airbag, which is a lot cushier than metal
