dude get rid of that 10 bolt now while you still can! man i went threw two sets of richmond gears and then swap my rear end for a 02 ws6 rear end. Oh and by the way i took the rear end cover off the other day to reseal it and im already missing 3 ring teeth and 1 pinion tooth. i cant wait to get my 9 inch and actualy not be scared to dump the clutch at the track.

Agree, I have seen/heard of too many people stripping the teeth of the ring gear. You can beef all you want but not mutch you can do about beefing up the gears themselves. An auto car can get away with some deacent power but a stick....get the 12 bolt or 9".

Don't bother with the 10 bolt. Just save up for a 9". I know from personal experience it's hard to space out mods and wait until you have the money, but that's the best thing to do. I can't afford a new rear now, so I started a saving account. Shuttle like 20 bucks a week into it. Sit on that $900 and save until you can get a rear. I read another thread where someone said to get a rear first, then go to heads/cam. Makes sense to me. You car can run with stock heads/cam, but ain't gonna run on a 10 bolt that can be broken with a stock/mild engine.
