Default Where to buy Ford racing gears????

Do I need to buy these from the stealership? I can not find 3.00 or 3.08 9" gears for the life of me.

I would prefer Ford racing.

Thanks.

Please enlighten me to "racing gears" ?

Ford does not and has not produced a 9" gear set for some 20 years... not to mention a "racing" gear all together.

I take it you are refering to 8620 or 9310 sets, right ??

Brandon and chicane:

I looked at Ford racing's website and could not find 9" gears. I guess you are correct, they don't sell them anymore.

New question: Where can I buy 3.23/3.27/3.08 9" gears???? I am having trouble locating a vendor for 9" gears that high.

LOL, sorry I had to quote you.

Scott @ www.driveline-solutions.com

And Ford does still produce 9 inch gears here in their Ford Sterling plant. They are difficult to find in that ratio and your best bet is to call me in tomorrow and I'll try to get a set for you.

Visteon is Fords line of gears really nice stuff You can get them from C&R racing or Tex Racing... there about 600 a set you may be able to find some used stuff with only a few hundred miles on it.. but you have to be careful because those ratios are used in restrictor plate applications anf they are very very light weight and would not handle anything like drag racing or hot street...
