Re: what rear springs?
Try '95 Camaro V6 rears. Very soft, & they really help the transfer on my '02 A4. However, I'm not probably ever going to see those kind of 60's! Still mostly stock.... Best wishes. WJ.

Re: what rear springs?
I run stock springs in the back and Hals in the front. I don't think you want softer than stock springs in the back. I get too much weight transfer as it is.

Re: what rear springs?
ohh yeah i forgot to add that there are some california cars that are claiming the title of fastest h/c car on the west coast..
well i am asuming you are not a stock cubed motor but you definitely are FAST..
the funny part about the question is that you said "what are you fast guys running" LOL...

Re: what rear springs?
we use convertible v-8 rear springs in the NHRA stock eliminator 1.28 60'. if you can hit the tire hard enough you need a stiffer spring to have the car pitch rotate on launch while still accelerating to get the good 60' times

Re: what rear springs?
I say stop your whining! A 1.41 60' time is great! Do you have an air bag under your right rear? It helps alot! Just a suggestion. DO you have a video of these runs? Would love to see them!

Re: what rear springs?
I don't care if I were pulling 1.29s...I'd then want 1.28s and then 1.27s, etc... 1.41s are not the point where we stop trying to go quicker (there is no such point, IMO.)
Rob, do you have LCA relocators? I like 'em.
A stiffer rear swaybar as an alternative to a RR airbag or a Wolfe Racecraft bar would help. I DO NOT recommend the Wolfe for a daily driven street car, however.

Re: what rear springs?
colonel the SS's are progressive springs where the convert's are standard wound springs so they are better for a harder launching car. with your sway bar deal it is a better alternative to an air bag you are correct and we have an adjuster on the NHRA stocker we work on and are prototyping a street use adjuster in the next few weeks

Re: what rear springs?
What size tire you running out back?
Folks have run 5.80-6.00 at the 1/8th with stock V8 springs. Stock V8 springs are not progressive rate springs but aftermarket springs like Eibachs are.
