rain dont bother a spool at all, jsut drive like you got since and you will never know its in there. and on my last set of 315 street tires i got 25,000 miles on them with the spool in the car, and the tread wear on them tires was only 160 thousands.

reason he haven problems in rain is the MT tires drag radils suck *** in rain with any rear,

True, if you know what can happen and try to stay out of trouble but a newb spool owner with a set of drag radials could spell disaster.
Its very scary how quick it will get away from you. Just a fair warning. I have had 2 friends lose cars in the rain with drag radials, they did not have spools, a spool would make it even easier to stuff the car.

I run for home if it even looks like rain.

My dana 60 came in today, it has the spool as well. i don't daily drive the car its going in. the spool is more for drag race setup and i would be cautious of taking any sharp turns with it.

also i would strongly suggest to all to be careful with drag radials in rain, i have a few friends who have wiped out nice cars with drag radials on in rain.

I hear ya Craig....

Its no fun..... esp when they are almost worn out like mine..... got caught in a downpour the other day and took 45 min to go 12 miles.....
Now when there new...... not a prob doing 55-60 on the freeway....
Im a 12 Bolt full spool now and i daily drive mine no matter the weather..... U just can drive like an idiot..... with soft tires they do wear out quicker....
Now my new S60 with a spool will be the same way....
Streetable is up to the person driving it.........
